Ed Gover is a P.E. Teacher at Santa Barbara Junior High, and is the Head Coach for Santa Barbara City College Women’s team.

Ed Gover has been coaching with the Club since it started. He began his coaching career in 1981. He was an Assistant Coach-Volunteer Long Beach State (NCAA champions), coached at Cal Juniors (JO runner-up 2 years in a row), and "lots of other places...".

Over the years, Ed has coached at all age divisions for SBVC, coached at many, if not all, Club clinics and camps throughout the years, and is one of the main founders of the Club's very successful non-travel program, Blenders!

Ed has coached at every age division throughout the years. Among many successfull seasons, Ed's '06 13-Blue team qualified for Junior Olympics, and his '07 13-Blue team qualified and won the Bronze Medal in the American Division! This past season, Ed's 2010 13-Blue team took 2nd place at the Volleyball Festival in Phoenix!
