Santa
Barbara Volleyball Club
The
Santa Barbara Volleyball Club is a non-profit organization
dedicated to the development of young women as athletes and
individuals. The Club provides an opportunity for committed
players, from grade school through high school, to develop
their volleyball skills and participate in organized competition.
It is the Club's mission to help each member become the best
volleyball player she can be and to support the parents in
making each player the best person she can be. The Club is
committed to working with parents and local schools to provide
intensive, high quality training for those players who aspire
to compete at the high school and college level. The Club
is also committed to economic and ethnic diversity through
its scholarship program and through its association with the
Santa Barbara City Parks and Recreation Department as a co-sponsor.
Throughout
each year the Club offers a variety of programs designed
to provide each member with training and competition at
a level which is consistent with their age, experience,

Club
Directors and Coaches
The
Club Director fields and monitors the progress of the teams
and players and supervises the coaches to maintain a consistent
standard for teaching skills and coaching teams. The Director
works with the coaches and players throughout the season
and observes them in tournament competition. The Administrative
Director primarily manages the day-to-day business operations
of running the Club. The Club's coaches are qualified and
experienced in coaching and training young women to compete
in organized volleyball. Most have either competed or coached
at the college level, and many have coached for the Club
for many years. The Directors and coaches are committed
to maintaining the Club's standards and achieving its goals.
