"Blenders" - Non Travel Teams
Sponsored by Blenders In The Grass!
Blenders is an outstanding opportunity for players who
are not able to participate on our travel teams, but would
like to be a part of a competitive volleyball team. Players
in the 5th through 8th grades who participate in Blenders
will receive individual instruction, develop their skills,
and participate in organized competition. The purpose of
Blenders is to teach young players the fundamental skills
so they can play on a travel team in the future. Players
in Blenders will be placed onto teams who will meet and
train twice a week and participate in tournaments organized
by the Club. There may be some travel to surrounding areas
for tournaments hosted by other local clubs. Currently,
Blenders begins in February and extends through May. Players
who qualify and choose to do so will have the opportunity
to continue in the Blenders All-Star program through the
month of June. Blenders has a limited
capacity, therefore, a waiting list will be created once
the Blenders has reached its maximum during the sign-up
period.
