GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The 18-1 team of the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club rebounded from a slow start by going undefeated (3-0) in the second Southern California Volleyball Association qualifying tournament at East Los Angeles College

The result guarantees the team will start the regular season in the gold division.
Coach Jason Donnelly, whose team went 1-2 in the first tournament, lauded the play of setter Hannah Munneke.
"Her location and decision making was a big reason we were able to go 3-0.
Donnelly also cited the hitting and blocking of Annie Villanueva and Kati Cattaneo.

In other club action the 17-1 team of Jake Hong went 0-3 at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Tim Voth's 16-2 team finished 1-2 at the tournament at Hope International University.
