ATHLETES OF THE YEAR

The Santa Barbara area sports community toasted standout athletes past and present and recognized the leaders in the local athletic arena at the 40th annual Athletic Round Table Hall of Fame banquet Monday night at Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort.

The college and high school athletes of the year were listed in Monday's News-Press.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Olivia Waldowski, UCSB: She led the Big West with her .394 hitting percentage, which is now the single season record at UCSB.

HIGH SCHOOL

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Kristen Dealy , Santa Barbara: Channel League MVP and All-CIF Div. 2 first team. News-Press Player of the Year after leading the Dons to the Div. 2 Finals.
