Team played great with the 8 players we had this weekend. Our passing, defense and blocking are getting better every week.

Solid performance by the "skeleton" crew - Missing 3 players and 2 played ill, the team really showed off their hard work in practice to come out strong and decidedly win all matches with many kills, digs and even a few blocks. All players were key to our success, while setter Mackenzie Boss ran a great offense - setting all hitters well and even racked up 2 kills of her own-and 6 service aces while using a new deadly jump float serve!

We stayed in Division 2 by winning an exciting three game playoff match. Danielle Rottman's strong serving as well as Page Hawkin's hitting in game three, brought the team back from 12-14 to win 16-14. Kira Schleich and Tristan Racich both had an excellent day setting.

Three way tie for first and we ended up third. We competed hard, battleing every match with our 8 players! Everyone played great and worked hard-a true team effort! MVP for the day goes to Katie Spieler. She was a great leader, had a strong voice, passed and defended like a champ, and even had some taco kills.

We need to get better at doing the "little things" on a more consistent basis. Nicole McCracken stepped it up and really helped us out on Sunday.
