Even though it was a short day with no playoffs the team played with passion throughout all three matches. Grace Connor, coming off a slight ankle injury, played great with her big block and kills in the front row. Jackie Harvey also played great in the front row with kills from the right side, and her passing and defense were stellar during the three matches. |

I haven't seen the team play with so much confidence and consistency. We started each game with the momentum and never let go. Heidi Vandenoever's hitting was explosive, Jessie Ditmore and Christina Miller shut down our opponents' middle, Torrie Armstrong played well on the right side, and Katie Shara provided great passing in the back row. |

We unfortunately were hit with a numerous injuries this weekend. We had a total of 5 healthy girls. Those 5 worked very hard and those that were injured fought through the pain and finished the day for us strong. Both out middles, hadley and Jen, played great. They are really coming along and showing they can compete at the high level. Claire and Allie step into our outside hitting role for the weekend and handled the pressure like professionals. We are looking forward to Regionals and having everyone healthy. |
